The people behind your lessons

Swimmers from Harvard, Columbia and the University of Denver, USA Swimming coaches, and an adaptive program led by a former special education teacher.

Angie Peluse

Founder, Swimming Simply

Angie Peluse

Angie founded Swimming Simply in 2021, when she couldn’t find swim lessons for her own kids that combined excellent coaching with a real team environment. She believes everyone can swim, and that with great coaching anyone can find joy in the water.

She started at age 5, after begging her mom to put her on a summer swim team. She swam through high school and college, and co-captained Harvard Women’s Swimming and Diving her senior year. Since then she has coached Division I teams, Masters swimmers, Olympians and Paralympians, and has taught people of every age and background to swim. She builds the team around shared values and decades of international and domestic swimming experience.

Nikita Bondarenko

Cofounder, Swimming Everywhere

Nikita Bondarenko

Nikita swam four years of Division I at Columbia University and is a USMS National Champion in the 500 free. Nikita has coached alongside American record holders and Lithuanian National Team members, coached age group swimmers at Highlands Ranch Aquatics, a Top 50 USA Swimming club, and before that at TC Falcon Swim Club in Southern California.

Nikita works with competitive swimmers, triathletes and adults who want to get faster or finally feel good in the water. Most of the teaching comes down to efficiency: better body position, a stronger catch, and pacing that holds up at the end of a race.
