About

I am a dedicated special education teacher with several years of experience serving middle school students with autism and other diverse learning needs. I currently running an Autism Center classroom for a public school in CO, where I develop individualized instruction focused on academics, communication, executive functioning, and social-emotional growth. In addition to my work in the classroom, I have experience teaching swim lessons, including specialized one-on-one instruction for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other neurodiverse learners. My approach combines evidence-based teaching strategies, patience, and individualized support to build water safety skills, confidence, and independence. I am passionate about creating engaging, inclusive environments that empower individuals to reach their full potential both in the classroom and in the pool.
